What STAQ is

STAQ is an interface on Robinhood Chain. It resolves public handles on X, GitHub, Twitch and YouTube to wallets created for them by Privy, prepares transactions that you sign in your own wallet, and shows public blockchain data. Coins are launched and traded on Pons, a separate service with its own terms.

Wallets and keys

Wallets are created and secured by Privy. STAQ never holds private keys or funds. Only the person who signs in with the account a wallet was created for can use it. Keep access to that account safe: losing it means losing access to the wallet.

Money you send is final

Sending money or launching a coin for a handle is a blockchain transaction. It cannot be reversed, refunded or redirected by STAQ. Check the handle before you confirm.

Fees

Launching a coin through STAQ costs a platform fee of 0.00025 ETH on top of Pons' own launch fee. It goes to the STAQ treasury, which uses it to buy back and burn the STAQ coin. Trading fees on coins are set by Pons and go to the handle the coin was launched for.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and allowed to use crypto services where you live. You are responsible for any taxes and for complying with your local laws.

Don't

We may block access for anyone who does.

No promises

STAQ is provided as is. Coins are volatile and can go to zero. Nothing here is financial, legal or tax advice. We do not guarantee that a handle's owner will ever claim a wallet, that any coin will trade, or that the service is always available. To the fullest extent the law allows, STAQ and its contributors are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, including losses caused by blockchains, wallets, third-party services or your own mistakes.

Changes

We can update these terms; the current version is always published here. Using STAQ after a change means you accept it.
