Short version: STAQ works with public handles and public blockchain data. Sign-in is handled by Privy or Google, we keep the minimum needed to show you your wallet, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.

Who we are

STAQ is the service at staqsend.cash. It lets anyone launch a coin for, or send money to, a public handle on X, GitHub, Twitch or YouTube, and lets the owner of that handle sign in and use the wallet created for it. Questions about this policy: message @staqcash on X.

What we collect

Handles you type. When someone names a handle, we look it up through that platform's public API and store the public account id, username, display name and avatar together with the wallet address created for it. This is public profile information; we do not read private content, messages or followers lists.
Sign-in data. For X, GitHub and Twitch, sign-in is run by Privy, our wallet provider. We receive the account id and username Privy verified, nothing else. For YouTube, you sign in with Google (see below).
Wallet and on-chain data. Wallet addresses, coins, balances, fees and transfers live on Robinhood Chain and are public by nature. We read them from the chain to show them to you.
Coin details. Names, tickers, images and links given at launch are stored and shown publicly with the coin.
Operational logs. Our host keeps short-lived request logs (IP address, browser type, requested page) for security and debugging. They are not used to profile you and expire automatically.

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

Google and YouTube

To claim a YouTube channel you sign in with Google and grant the youtube.readonly permission. We use it for one request: asking YouTube which channel your Google account owns. From that answer we keep the channel id, handle, title and avatar so the wallet created for that handle can be shown to you. We do not store the Google access token after that request, we do not read your videos, comments, subscriptions or private channel data, and we never post on your behalf. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

STAQ's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies

We set one cookie of our own, staq_yt, after a YouTube sign-in. It keeps you signed in for up to 12 hours and is deleted when you sign out. Privy sets its own cookies and local storage to keep your session and wallet working; see Privy's privacy policy for details.

Who else sees data

Privy creates and secures wallets and runs X, GitHub and Twitch sign-in.
Google / YouTube, X, GitHub, Twitch answer public profile lookups and, for the platform you sign in with, verify that it is you.
Railway hosts the service. Robinhood Chain and Blockscout serve blockchain data. Pons runs the launchpad where coins trade.

We share data with these providers only as needed to run the service. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising.

Your choices

Sign out to end your session; revoke Google or Privy access from those providers.
Ask us to remove a stored profile record (handle, name, avatar) by contacting us. Blockchain data cannot be deleted by anyone, including us.

Age

STAQ is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new effective date.
